ZVISHAVANE –Magistrate Evia Matura has granted Masent Masenga a protection order against his son whom he accused of assaulting both him and the mother.

The protection order bars Tatenda Elfas Masenga from his father’s homestead or talking to his parents and it was given in default as the defendant did not attend court.

The case was heard on Tuesday.

He wanted him barred from homestead as he was no longer behaving as his biological son. 

Masenga accused his son of threatening to destroy the homestead and on October 3, 2022 he threw stones at his father.
