Madzibaba Munyokovere making waves in Harare


HARARE –Madzibaba Simbarashe Munyokovere (37) popularly known as Madzibaba Dhika of the Kutenda Kwavapositori apostolic sect has stood the test of time with a 21 year track record.

Madzibaba Munyokovere who is the main prophet at Kutenda Kwavapositori, a church established by his older brother in the late 1990’s began praying, offering healing water and mhiko (vows) to those that sought his spiritual guidance at just 15 years old.

The Mirror caught up with Madzibaba Dhika who said his main focus is divided between growing the church and assisting those that seek his spiritual guidance.

He said that the church has over 10 000 congregants nationwide with branches in Buhera, Zhombe, Nyazvidzi, Kwekwe and Harare where services are held at an open space near Glen Norah park.

“I was already preaching and praying for people while I was still at Domborenhikiti Primary School in Gutu. In 1999 l began praying for people. It was hard at first with the criticism and negativities that come along with such a calling but I persevered,” said Prophet Munyokovere.

The man of cloth said that he assists those seeking to conceive, find jobs, bodily and spiritual ailments, those intending to make vows (mhiko), bringing back spouses and lost properties among many other problems.
“I offer prayers, healing and cleansing water and mhiko (vows). I have people queued at my surgery everyday to get assistance. The church is also growing.

The cleric also said that he does not charge for his services but receives tokens of appreciation from those who will be pleased with his services.
