GWERU – Sungura giant Alick ‘Baba Shero’ Macheso will set Gweru alight tomorrow (Friday) with his recently launched album ‘Tinosvitswa Nashe’.

He will stage the show at the Midlands Hotel.

Macheso’s Public Relations manager Tich Makahamadze confirmed the show to The Mirror.

“We are coming to Gweru where we are going to play our new album for the first time. We are coming in full force and we promise to light up Gweru.

“The last time we performed there we put up a memorable show because we dished out a blend of old and new songs and this time we are going to do the same,” he said.

Midlands Hotel owner Hamutendi Kombayi said Baba Shero is returning to the City of Progress by public demand.

“The Sungura maestro will be here on Friday and we are expecting fireworks as he will be playing his new album.

“Fans always come in large numbers whenever Macheso performs here and we are preparing to host such a big crowd. Our venue has a capacity to hold over 5000 people,” he said.

Launched on June 10, 2022 Tinosvitswa Nashe features life coaching songs like ‘Nzendo Dzirefu,’ Makazvinzwepi, ‘Munhu Mumwe’, ‘Ndimi Vanhu Vacho’ and a Chewa song that is believed to be rocking the street radios of Lilongwe, Malawi entitled ‘Impfa Nimulandi’.

The show will start at 6 pm and Sungura lovers will part with USD $10 as entrance fee.https://masvingomirror.com/
