Liebernberg High scores 98 % A Level passes

CHIKOMBA—Liebernberg High School attained an impressive 98% pass rate in the November 2023 Zimbabwe School Examination Council (Zimsec) A Level results with 84 candidates scoring 10 points and above. 

The school’s best student Tadiwanashe Zuva scored 20 straight points in History, Literature, Family and Religious Studies (FRS), and Heritage. Chido Mutsengi and Jaison Linety scored 19 points while 14 others scored 15 straight points. 

School head Tinashe Sangu told The Mirror that he is impressed with the results that have improved from 90% in 2022. 

“We have a number of students who did us proud with 84 students scoring 10 points and above. As a school we are elated with such a notable improvement in all learning areas. 

“Our appreciation goes to our teachers for their excellent work. We expect to do better in the near future. We recorded 100 % pass rates in subjects as History, Heritage, FRS, Crop Science, Literature, Business Studies, Sociology, Statistics, Economics, Chemistry and Biology,” said Sangu

Fourteen candidates scored 15 straight points, 16 students scored 14 points and 16 more have 13 points. Sixteen more scored 12 points. FRS was the most passed subjects with 31 students scoring As, 29 students aced Shona with 20 acing History. Nine got straight As in mathematics.
