KWEKWE – A Kwekwe man who always threaten violence on his ex-wife and to suck her blood was slapped with a protection order by magistrate Itai Kagwere.
The man will not visit his ex-wife for five years; the period prescribed by the order.
Morris Mugwagwa however, made a u-turn and pleaded with the court to make his wife make amends with him.
Loyce Sibanda of Mbizo sought a protection order against Mugwagwa and told the court that she did not want him anywhere near her parents’ place of residence where she stays.
“He is in a tendance of harassing me, threatening me with violence. He also threatens to drink my blood. I don’t want him to come to my parents’ place where I stay,” read part of the application.
Mgwagwa consented to the protection order but begged the court to talk to Sibanda to make amends with him again.
“I am in agreement with her application so that maybe she can think again and come back to me,” he said.
