MASVINGO- A newly founded top Masvingo private school Junior High School first A Level class has recorded a 100 % pass rate in the 2023 A’ Level Cambridge results with the best student scoring 24 points.

School Director and businessman Noah Marima told The Mirror that 32 candidates sat for the exams and 23 of them scored eight points and above.

The best student scored As in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Computer Sciences and a B in Physics. The second best student got 18 points; As in Maths and Biology and Bs in Physics and Computer Science.

The school opened its doors in 2022. Of the 32 candidates, 22 were doing sciences, six commercials and four were doing arts subjects.

Marima attributed the good results of the pioneer group to the efforts by teachers.

“We are very happy with the results given that it is our first sitting. It means a lot to us. We have laid a strong foundation. We appreciate parents at the school and the Masvingo community for trusting us to educate their children.

“The support was overwhelming. As the responsible authority, we are happy with the efforts put by our teachers, we attribute the hard work and good results to their efforts,” he said.
