MASVINGO- The late Masvingo journalist Clayton Shereni (26) who died on Tuesday after a long illness was buried at the Lawn Cemetery at 12 pm today.

Hundreds including journalists from as far as Harare and Chiredzi bade him farewell.

Speakers described him as an affable man who had a promising future.

Journalist and close friend Godfrey Mutimba applauded journalists for attending the burial in numbers.

“I am overwhelmed with the love that Masvingo journalists have showed. It should not end here. We are one family and should always stand together,” he said.
