BEITBRIDGE – Hut of Praise choir (HOP), a vibrant group of young gospel musicians based in Beitbridge will hold its annual event, Worship Night Experience 6 on May 29, at Tsepang Gardens in the border town.
The event has become possible thanks to the relaxation of Covid19 lockdown.
HUT director Lyton Zendera confirmed the development in a telephone interview and said that Worship Night is an event held to transform the lives of youths religiously and entrepreneurially through various activities.
He said that there will be important guests who are going to make presentations and there will be a business expo. The guests will enhance critical networking for the youth. The event will be broadcast on zoom and Microsoft team platforms, said Zendera.
Although he could not disclose the names of the influencial guests, he said their presence will go an extra mile in networking youths.
The expo will allow companies to showcase their products and services and share their experiences and in particular how they dealt with the challenges of the lockdown.
“This coming edition will be a breeding ground for youths’ relations with influential people through networking and information sharing,” said Zendera.
The theme is “Grateful in his presence”.
“Our previous worship night experiences’ have primarily focused on inspiring young people and this edition will go an extra mile and transform their lives also. We have invited influencial business people, elders and senior citizens of our country who will assist in mentoring youths and influencing a changed mindset.
“We don’t want youths to survive by music only but they should have business ideas. We want to ensure that they are recognized by both musicians and business people,” said Zendera.
He said attendance will be strictly by invitation and registration. For enquiries, they can be contacted on +263776 103 223/ +263785 244 336. https://masvingomirror.com
