MASVINGO – Hukuimwe Poultry Farm, a fast-growing agro-business company has opened a retail shop in Masvingo where it sells stockfeeds and poultry chemicals.

The shop was opened at Number 1, Simon Muzenda Street, formerly Hofmeyer yesterday and this becomes the company’s eighth branch in the country and the first in Masvingo Province.

Hukuimwe founder and managing director Uvencio Hakurimwi said that they were pushed to open the shop after realizing that farmers were looking for affordable products.

The shop has a window for discounts at the opening.

The company’s agro-chemical and veterinary medicines side is called the Farmers Hub; Hukuimwe is an agent for Capital Foods.

The shop Operations and Finance Manager Promise Mutongi said Hukuimwe Poultry Farm is a specialist in farm and poultry production and it provides stock feeds, day old broiler chicks, veterinary medicines, agro-chemicals, poultry equipment as well as agro-inputs.

The company has an expert team that attends to clients giving the necessary information and education, said Mutongi. The shop delivers onto the doorsteps for any client who buys a tonne of its products. 

The company was found in 2017 and some of its branches are in Harare, Murehwa, Mutoko, Domboshava, Epworth, Tynwald and Rusape.
