MIRROR REPORTER

MASVINGO – The disciplinary hearings of Reformed Church of Zimbabwe (RCZ) top brass including General Secretary, Tafadzwa Masimba suspended for alleged corruption and abuse of office will take place from Monday to Wednesday next week.
Investigations by The Mirror shows that the three top managers, Masimba; human resources manager Frank Shuro and treasurer Pikisai Mhizha are being charged under Section 4(a), 4(b) and (d) of Statutory Instrument 15 of 2006.
Congregants complained at a congress that the RCZ managers allegedly ran the church like a private property. This is happening with many churches in Zimbabwe where school heads are diving mission schools and hospitals among themselves and they run them without external audits.
Section 4 (a) deals with an act inconsistent with expressed or implied terms of contract and section (b) deals with fraud while section (d) deals with disobedience to a lawful order.
