Gweru Council procures US$100k tipper truck

GWERU – Gweru City Council has bought a US$102 660, 15tonne tipper truck using devolution funds and the truck will be used for roads maintenance.
The local authority public relations officer Vimbayi Chingwaramusee confirmed the procurement to the media last week.
“Council has bought a tipper truck using part of the 2021 devolution funds. The truck will be for road works as well and other council works like water and sewer reticulation maintenance,” said Chingwaramusee.
