MASVINGO – This year’s edition of Masvingo Government Schools Association ball games kicks off this morning at Chiredzi Government High School, association chairperson Thomas Mureriwa has said.

He told The Mirror that nine high schools and five primary schools have confirmed attendance.

“Nine Government secondary schools, Mwenezi Government, Victoria High, Ngundu Government School, Ndarama High, Malipati High, Temaraire High, Chiredzi Government, Mucheke High and Mazungunye high confirmed attendance.

“In the primary schools category Helen McGhie, Chiredzi primary, Victoria Junior, Nyoni and Hillside primary have confirmed attendance. Some of the disciplines include soccer, handball, chess, basketball, netball, tennis, chess and volleyball. Outstanding teams and individuals will get different prizes,” he said.

Last year’s edition of the secondary schools was held at Victoria High School whilst the primary schools category took place at Victoria Junior primary.
