BUHERA – Gombiro Kumusha, a group of Buhera youth dedicated to hunting down armed robbers terrorizing Murambinda and its environs is appealing for support through fuel to continue its night patrols.
Gilbert Kamhunga, a group member told The Mirror that they are struggling to buy fuel for their patrols.
The group was trained at the local Police station and is always accompanied by several Police officers when they go on their patrols.
They have also helped stop cattle deboning thieves.
“We are appealing for well-wishers to sponsor us with fuel so that we are able to continue catching the criminals. We are working with the members of the Zimbabwe Republic Police who equipped us with skills to catch criminals,” he said.
Gombiro Kumusha was formed by 20 youth after crime soared in Murambinda in April this year.
