GOKWE – Gokwe Town Council, Finance Director and former acting secretary, Joconia Nyoni has died.
Nyoni died at his residence in Green Valley, Gokwe this morning.
Gokwe town chairman, Lisias Mutegwe confirmed the sad news to The Mirror.
“It is true that we lost our long serving employee, Nyoni. He passed on this morning at home.
“It is a great loss to us as council because he served the local authority for many years and he was approaching his retirement. God has done his will and there is nothing we can do,” said Mutegwe.
Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
