Former school head, Chief Nyamandi’s secretary is no more

GUTU – Patrick Chagwiza who is both former Guzha Primary School head and former secretary to Chief Nyamandi of Gutu is no more.
He retired as head at Guzha in 2018.
Chagwiza died of a kidney ailment at Karanda Mission Hospital in Mt Darwin at 11am yesterday.
He was 69.
Tafadzwa Chagwiza, the deceased’s son confirmed the death to The Mirror and said that his father was in hospital at Karanda since Tuesday last week.
He will be buried at Chivasa Village near Mutero Mission in Chief Nyamandi’s area at 2pm tomorrow.
“My father was receiving treatment at Karanda since last week and he died yesterday,” said Chagwiza.
Chagwiza was Chief Nyamandi’s secretary from 2007 to date. He was secretary to Chief Nyamandi born Siyano Machaya.
Born at Mutero Mission hospital, Chagwiza who is of the Nyamandi family went to Mutero CPS mary School.
He studied his O Levels at Chikwingwizha Seminary and did his Diploma in Education at Bondolfi Teachers’ College near Masvingo.
He taught at numerous schools in Gutu including Chadzamira Secondary, Machingambi, Rineshanga, Makura, Gumindoga and Guzha primary schools.
His wife Eufrasia Goronga is late and he is survived by six children namely Tafadzwa, Amos, Robert Komborero ,John and Tendai.https://masvingomirror.com/
