Former Chipinge legislator Murire appointed to BAZ board

CHIPINGE – Former MP for Musikavanhu Constituency in Chipinge, Dr Joshua Murire has been appointed Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) board member.
The appointment is with effect from July 15, this year.
Murire is among five others who were appointed to the board. The appointments were authorised by President Mnangagwa and additional appointments will be made in due course
Murire is a war veteran and is a finance specialist.
Valentine Mutatu, a lawyer will be the acting chairman of the BAZ board
“His Excellency the President Cde E.D Mnangagwa has approved the appointments of the following Board Members with effect from July 15, 2024 for four years.
Contacted for a comment, Murire said he is happy on his appointment.
