Masvingo – A prominent CCC member and aspiring councillor for Gutu West Ward 31 Godfrey Chavhunduka Mushukushe (75) has died.
Mushukushe who coordinated party activities in the constituency since the days of MDC died at Mukoko Village under Headman Ndahwi in Gutu yesterday evening.
Burial will be at his rural homestead tomorrow.
The death was confirmed by CCC point person, Pardon Gusha.
Mushukushe attended Mukoko Primary.
“We are saddened by the death of Mushukushe who was a great champion of change. He wanted to see Zimbabweans prospering and removed from the bondage of Zanu PF,” said Gusha.
Mushukushe is survived by his two sons and a grandchild. His wife died in 2008.
