Farm and City opens 2nd branch in Masvingo


MASVINGO – Farm and City, a subsidiary of CFI Holdings has opened a second branch in Masvingo City.
The branch was officially opened on Wednsday and this becomes the leading agricultural and hardware retail company’s third branch in the province.
The new branch is at 403 Robert Mugabe near Chicken Slice and becomes the 54th countrywide said group procurement manager, Tapiwa Nhari.
“We are happy to have managed to open a one stop shop at the heart of the city. This is a unique position accessible to both transport and human traffic,” said Nhari.
Vengai Defu is the first branch manager.
The one stop shop product range includes, agro-inputs and implements, post-harvest grain storage units, building materials, crop and general chemicals, stock feeds, veterinary, general hardware and general tools.
Speaking at the event, a loyal client hailed Farm and City for bringing another one stop shop.
“We thank God for this new Branch. We can now access our one stop shop near the city bus terminus,” said Sam Bere.
Farm and City Centre was formerly Farmers Co-op when it was formed in 1908. The business works closely with farmers’ unions and non-governmental organisations in grain input schemes.
