CTCA proposes bus terminus establishment in Chipinge town

CHIPINGE – Chipinge Town Community Association (CTCA) has written to council applying for land to use as a bus terminus.

CTCA chairperson, Lincoln Mwaimbodeyi told Chipinge Times that they have engaged council over the matter because they are worried by the ever increasing accidents due to vehicles parking at undesignated points.

“Many vehicles, particularly the mushika shika vehicles are parking everywhere because they do not have a designated point. The establishment of a parking bay will also give vendors a central point to sell their wares,” said Mwaimbodeyi.

Efforts to get a comment from Chipinge Town council secretary Susan Dube were futile.

Chipinge has one bus terminus outside town which is mostly used by cross border buses. https://masvingomirror.com
