MASVINGO- A T and B Smart Express bus traveling from Mutare to South Africa was robbed of ZAR 140,160 and US$8,520 by three unidentified armed men near Mwenezi at around 2 a.m. on Wednesday last week.
The robbers had boarded the bus at Birchenough Bridge the previous evening at around 7 p.m. At 2 a.m., one of them fired a pistol into the roof of the bus, damaging all CCTV cameras before ordering the driver to stop.
