HARARE – Cimas, the oldest medical aid service provider in Zimbabwe will today mark its 75th anniversary.
Cimas confirmed this in a statement released on its behalf by MHPR Public Relations Consultants.
“Cimas Medical Aid Society will celebrate its 75th anniversary tomorrow (Friday) with an online concert featuring Winky D, Iyasa and Holy Ten. The concert will be carried on online television channel Nash TV,” reads part of the statement.
Cimas opened its doors on October 1, 1945. It has branches across the country with a presence in every province.
It also has medical laboratories around the country with its main laboratory being in Harare. The Harare laboratory received ISO 15189 accreditation for international standards of medical laboratories in 2015.
Cimas also offers the iGo programme where members have access to fitness and wellness coaches and dieticians without subscribing.
