Choruwa is Business Woman of the Year

ZVISHAVANE – Isheanopa group of Companies Director Sylivia Choruwa is the Megafest 2021 Businesswoman of The Year for Midlands.
She received her prize at the Midlands Province Megafest Awards held at a Gweru lodge on Friday.
Judges noted her for her rise from humble beginnings as she raised her capital from selling wardrobes.
She now owns furniture, hardware and boutiques in Zvishavane and Mberengwa. Her success has been inspiration to these communities and her story has been an inspiration to the community.
The icing on the cake is that she is also now a proud owner of a shopping complex in Mberengwa. The judges did not overlook her philanthropic work and that was one of the considerations for the award.
She expressed her gratitude to her workers who have contributed immensely to the good results of the company.
“I have won awards since 2018 under ZNCC and chamber of SMEs 2020 Masvingo business awards. These awards ranged from regional to national.
“I am excited, I feel honored. I thank the Lord, I acknowledge my staff at Isheanopa Group and my manager Wadzanai Mugangavari, my son Munashe Ashley Musukutwa for his helping hand and my husband.
