Chikomba— Village Secrets, a local drama series shot in Chivhu was among the few local content producers exhibiting at the International Youth Business Expo held in Bulawayo ZITF grounds recently.
Village Secretes technical director Andrew Mashungu represented the film during the exhibition.
The event was graced by Minister of Youth, Sports, Arts and Recreation Kirsty Coventry and Permanent Secretary, Thokozile Chitepo.
Mashungu told The Mirror that he was happy to be given a stand to exhibit Village Secrets. He also expressed his gratitude as the event gave him a chance to tell Chitepo some of the challenges the drama series is facing.

He raised issues of content monetisation and the threats of piracy to the Permanent Secretary.
Village Secrets director Leonard Chibhamu said he was elated at the reception the drama series got during the exhibition, especially from the minister herself.
“We are excited with this opportunity. This was the first time a product of this nature from Mashonaland East showcased at such a big platform.
“We thank Mashungu for representing us and we also thank dignitaries who visited our stand and developed interest in our exhibition, “said Chibhamu.
