Chipinge woman catches city store worker raping her daughter

CHIPINGE – A 47-year-old man employed by Farm and City in Chipinge was allegeldy caught red-handed raping
a mentally challenged girl (17) by the mother.

Joseph Simango who is a general hand at the agroretail shop appeared before Chipinge regional magistrate
Chistopher Maturure on Wednesday facing rape charges. Themba Dhliwayo who represented the State said on
October 27, 2019 at around 10pm, the accused who resides in Gaza proceeded to the complainant’s place
and found the complainant in the dining room.

He knocked at the door and the juvenile opened. He allegeldy asked for fuel.

Simango allegedly grabbed the complainant by the hand and dragged her to the back of the house where he pushed her to ground and started raping her. The complainant’s mother arrived at the same time from work and went to the back of the house where she allegeldy found the accused having sex with her daughter.

Simango stood up when he saw a light coming towards him and ran away. Dube chased the accused while alerting neighbours who apprehended Simango. https://masvingomirror.com
