Chipinge – Chipinge Town councillors are expected to hold a crunch meeting this morning to discuss a report understood to have been submitted by the town secretary Susan Dube concerning her arrest over allegations of abuse of office.
The meeting is likely to decide her fate.
The meeting is also expected to discuss an alleged influx of contract workers at council who are suspected to be relatives of senior managers and were allegedly appointed without merit.
Another item on the agenda is a proposal by management to pay bonuses to the contract workers when the local authority has a three months salary backlog. https://masvingomirror.com
