Chipinge Town 2022 budget approved

CHIPINGE – The Minister of Local Government, Public Works and National Housing July Moyo has approved Chipinge Town Council‘s RTGS $940 722 410 budget.
Chipinge Town Council chairperson Lovemore Mukwapati confirmed the news to Chipinge Times.
“I am glad to announce that our 2022 budget has been approved. Our total budget for this fiscal year is RTGS $940 722 410.
“An amount of RTGS $196 924 000 was allocated for devolution projects. Emergency Road Rehabilitation Projects were allocated RTGS$42 038 167 50. There is no public sector investment programme fund allocated this year,” he said.
Mukwapati told Chipinge Times that this year’s devolution funds are earmarked for several projects including the construction of St Kelvin Secondary School, purchase of an ambulance, construction of water filters and purchase of refuse tractor.https://masvingomirror.com
