CHIPINGE – Twenty-year-old whizz-kid, Tarisai Mawire of Usanga Suburb in Chipinge will miss her chance to study law at the University of Zimbabwe (UZ) unless well-wishers assist her with fees.
Mawire got 15 points at A Level and has since secured a place to study law at UZ starting August this year and this is just weeks away. However, her mother is a maid and cannot afford to pay the fees.
She is appealing to well-wishers to come to her rescue as she is determined to succeed in life.
“I am a determined girl and my results at A Level are out of sheer hard work because I face a lot of financial problems. I want to become a lawyer but my dreams will be shattered if I don’t get school fees in the next few days.
“I am kindly appealing to well-wishers to assist me with fees,” said Mawire.
Mawire’s mother Nunurai Gatsi who is a maid in Chipinge stays at her employer’s house together with her daughter.
