CHIMANIMANI – Chimanimani Rural District Council (RDC) has resolved to repossess 191 housing and business stands after the beneficiaries failed to develop them over a period of 15 years.

The resolution came during the local authority’s full council meeting held at the council boardroom on Thursday last week. 

The majority of the undeveloped stands are in ward 15 which is Chimanimani Urban.

Chimanimani RDC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nehemiah Deure confirmed the matter to Chipinge Times.

“A total of 191 stands had largely gone undeveloped. Some of the stands were allocated in 2007 and some in 2011. The stands are yet to be developed,” he said.https://masvingomirror.com
