MASVINGO – High Court Judge, Justice Sunsley Zisengwe has granted $10 000 bail to Police officer, Detective Sergeant Takesure Buzu and an accomplice Rumbidzai Takawira who were nabbed with over 100kgs of copper cables.

Buzu and Takawira who spend 21 days in remand prison after their arrest on August 21, 2022 will report at Masvingo Central Police station every Friday and reside at their given addresses 26835 Chiedza Street, Mucheke A and 16546 Samson Kanyemba Street in Runyararo West respectively.

The duo was nabbed by Police detectives in Rhodhene with 165kgs of copper wire and 11kgs of TelOne copper cables 

Buzu and Takawira were represented by Omen Mafa and Tafadzwa Mbwachena.

The duo was denied bail thrice at Masvingo Magistrates Court.
