MASVINGO-A 16-year-old Masvingo boy born with a heart disease is appealing for financial assistance to get a private tutor since he cannot attend school like other children.

Sichah Gama (16) was born with a cardiovascular disease and he cannot play or run around like other children of his age which limits his interaction with other children.

His father Samuel Gama told The Mirror that Sichah used to attend school but was forced to drop out because playing with other children took a toll on his health.

Sichah said he wants to be educated and pursue his dream of becoming a pastor and an established musician. He has an album to his name and sings regularly at church and a weddings.

“I find healing in music and I began singing from a tender age at weddings and at church. I wish to be a pastor someday. I am appealing for assistance in getting a private tutor because I want to be educated like everyone else.

“I stay in Victoria Range Masvingo with my parents Samuel Gama, Susan Chimwe and my two siblings. I am an avid congregant of the National Baptist Convention,” said Sichah.

He released his debut album last year titled Muchengeti which has seven songs. The album was produced by Khulekani Moyo a.k.a DJ Pule of GM records. He said the music he sings heals him spiritually.

“People should reform and abandon their unfaithful ways so that we may enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Living in a righteous way has been of utmost help to me because I have been seeing some health changes through singing worship songs,” said Sichah.

Those willing to assist can contact Samuel Gama on 0772335059 or The Mirror helpline on 0775691380.
