Beware, Dangamvura man robbed by mushikashikas

MUTARE – A Mutare man who boarded a Mushikashika from the city center at an undesignated bus stop near Choppies to Dangamvura was on Saturday robbed of US$100 plus a Samsung A10 phone.
Manicaland Police spokesperson, Inspector Nobert Muzondo confirmed that Owen Zvinofadzamvumi (24) of Nyamauru, Dangamvura was robbed at knife point aboard a Nissan Caravan by four unknown men.
“On March 4, 2023 at 7 pm Zvinofadzamvumi boarded a Nissan Caravan ACR 1625 white in color at Choppies supermarket along Herbert Chitepo street enroute to Dangamvura. In the vehicle were four men and on reaching Moffat Hall, the driver of the Caravan stopped the vehicle. One of the accused persons who was seated next to Zvinofadzamvumi, produced a knife and demanded valuables,” reported Muzondo.
He surrendered a Samsung A10 and US$100 before he was kicked out of the vehicle by the robbers who drove off towards Dangamvura.
Zvinofadzamvumi made a Police report and no arrests nor recoveries have been made.
