The opening of the branch comes after 150 sugarcane out grower farmers acquired tractors from the firm through the Zwmb early this year.
Pinchuck said he was grateful to work with farmers in Chiredzi and commended the district for being one of the best farming regions in the country.
“Women’s bank opened our eyes for us to realise farmers here and I am surprised that farmers here are organised. Chiredzi is one of the best farming regions in the country.
“We managed to sell 150 tractors here in Chiredzi in about seven months and farmers wanted a service centre for the spare parts for their tractors. This means they really care about their machinery,” said Pinchuck. Chadzamira said the service centre will provide spare parts and backup to all farmers. He also said that Zimbabwe has received 1830 tractors, 76 combine harvesters and other agricultural equipment from Bison Agro Machinery in the past three years.
“The service centre will provide high quality service and spare parts backup to all farmers in and around Chiredzi and i am pleased and assured that the service centre will go a long way in making sure all the Belarusian tractors have long life and in their positive impact on the production of the agric sector.
“Zimbabwe has received at least 1830 tractors, 76 combine harvesters and other agricultural equipment from Belarus over the past three years to modernise and boost production in the agricultural sector,” he said.
Muyengwa assured farmers that the bank will provide loans for service parts whenever farmers suffer breakdowns.
“Whenever you have breakdowns just know that our bank will always be there to support you, just come and we will offer you loans for the spare parts,” said Muyengwa.
