BEITBRIDGE – Preparations for this year’s edition of the Beitbridge Business Expo running from next Thursday to Saturday (July 11-13, 2024) at Dulivhadzimu Stadium are at an advanced stage.
Expo chairperson Dr Anna Muleya said preparations for the event are at an advanced stage and people are still registering to participate.
“Preparations for the expo are at an advanced stage. We are doing final touches and waiting for the event to take place. The expo is going to be held at Dulivhadzimu Stadium for the last time.
“We intend to have our next edition at our new show grounds and we are starting to put up structures for 2025 soon after the expo. More businesses are still making enquiries for participation at the forthcoming expo,” she said.
Last year there were 104 exhibitors.
The edition is running under last year’s theme: Beitbridge 24/7.
“Our goal is for the border town to be operational 24/7,” she added.
Small to Medium Enterprises (SME) s are paying US$20 exhibition fee whilst big businesses are paying US$100 for a three by three metre exhibition stand.
The dates were moved from July 4- 6 because the dates clashed with the Matabeleland South Provincial Diaspora Investment Conference.
Activities at the three day expo include a business seminar, career guidance, horse riding, quad biking, and cook out competition, children entertainment, drum majorettes among others.
