The 41 graduated with diplomas, certificates and advanced diplomas in theology. Graduates and attendees came from as far as Gweru, Bulawayo, Chiredzi, Harare and Kadoma.

Haggqvist encouraged the graduates to follow the teachings of Christ and keep the gospel alive. He said he was humbled to be the guest of honour.

“The Swedish Alliance Mission has a strong historical bond with the Alliance Church in Zimbabwe. I want to encourage the students to follow Christ’s teachings,” he said.

Esther Mavengahama, George Allan Nyarota and Obidient Mutizwa were the best students.

Josiya said he is happy with the number of youth graduating from the college and dedicating themselves to serving the Lord.

“I am happy to witness this historical event. The purpose of the training is to train people who are going to be gospel soldiers.

“Solid Foundation Bible College trains people from across all denominations which means our Bible College is not only for Alliance Church members but it also trains Pastors from other churches,” he said.
