2 Grade six pupils take turns to rape minor

Shurugwi – Two Grade 6 pupils (names withheld) from Mashunye Village under Chief Nhema in Shurugwi will appear in court soon for allegedly taking turns to rape a juvenile (8).
Efforts to get a comment from the Police were futile.
The Mirror however, have papers containing investigations by the Police on the matter. It is understood that there was penetration.
The incident happened November 25, 2021.
Papers in the hands of The Mirror indicate that the accused are attending school at Zvamaunje Primary. They escaped from school and went and laid an ambush on a path leading to the villages until a group of girls appeared.
They chased after the girls until they caught one who is now the complainant.
They allegedly tied her hands and legs with a tree bark and took turns to rape her. When they were through they untied her and ran away. The complainant reported to her mother resulting in a Police report.
The accused are pleading guilty.
