MASVINGO – Eleven nurses at Masvingo Provincial Hospital have tested positive to Covid-19, according to results released yesterday.

This has been confirmed by Masvingo Provincial Covid-19 Taskforce Spokesperson, Rodgers Irimayi in an interview with The Mirror today.

The results were carried out on all health workers at the institution some two weeks ago.
One of the 11 nurses is admitted at Rujeko Clinic isolation centre while 10 who are asymptomatic are in self quarantine.

“Among those who were tested at Masvingo Provincial Hospital two weeks ago, 11 have tested positive according to the PCR results which came out yesterday. There is only one who is admitted while 10 are asymptomatic and they have even passed 10 days according to WHO guidelines meaning they are assumed recovered” said Irimayi. https://masvingomirror.com
