ZAKA – Divine Maroi of Mpfumo Village under Chief Bota emerged the hero who served his mother and father from certain death after a vicious attack at their village by a cackle of hyenas.

The hyenas left Divine’s mother Muchanyara Munodya with amputated hands, his father Robert Maroi with five lost fingers and his grandfather seriously injured on the night of July 18, 2022.

When the hyenas were on a sure course to kill three of his family members and probably more people as villagers were in sixes and sevens, Divine took a zinc sheet and hit it with a metal rod producing sound that sent the hyenas fleeing.

“When we have lost hope and the hyenas were running riot around villagers who had come out of their houses to scare away the animals, Divine thought on his feet and resorted to hitting the zinc sheet thereby scaring away the hyenas,” said Maroi.https://masvingomirror.com/
