10 Chivhu Taekwondo athletes make it to national team

CHIKOMBA— Eleven athletes from Chivhu-based Taekwondo Club, Muvsports have been selected into the national Zimbabwe Taekwondo team.
The selection process was held at the City Balling Club in Harare last Saturday and 11 taekwondo clubs, Black Rhinos, Bero Club, Flash Kickers, Thunders, Trickers, Vipers, Epworth, Sounds, Golden Tigers, Bullets, and Muvsports attended.
MuvSports club founder and trainer Givemore Muvuti (43) confirmed the selection results to The Mirror.
Muvuti said that he is overwhelmed and proud to have 11 athletes qualify into the national team.
“I am a proud coach to have 11 athletes who qualified for the national team. It is every coach’s dream to have his student-athletes represent the country in the national team, I am greatly honored,” said Muvuti.
The selected athletes are Jahmial Tigere, Constance Nhlizio, and Tinotenda Tsoka, Tinotenda Kufandirori, Ekranchimiyo Muvuti, Tarirai Masunganye, Trust Mupereri Ranziweti, Ijiwenzi-Muvuti, and Nekispiyu Muvuti and Comfort Dhikinya.
